Reading the chain

every coin starts on high ground.

A Solana launchpad. Every coin opens at 250 SOL of market cap with its whole supply in one Meteora DAMM v2 pool that is locked forever. Nobody holds a token at launch and there is no cheap first block. Holders who lock get a share of the coin's trading fees in SOL, paid by an on-chain program.

The route

how a coin opens high

One transaction makes the coin, opens its pool, locks the liquidity forever and writes the fee split. After that, the program does the rest.
  1. 01trailhead

    launch in one transaction

Name, ticker, image, optional partners and an optional first buy. The program creates the mint (1,000,000,000 at 6 decimals, no freeze authority), writes metadata nobody can change, revokes the mint authority and puts the whole supply into a new Meteora DAMM v2 pool. Cost: about 0.035 SOL of rent plus a 0.02 SOL launch fee.

  2. 02the open

opens at 250 SOL, locked forever

The pool starts at the bottom of its range and holds only coins. In the same transaction its position is permanently locked: nobody can withdraw the liquidity, not the creator and not the platform. A first buy pays the opening price like anyone else, in public.

  3. 03the climb

every trade pays a fee in SOL

1.25% at the open, falling step by step to 0.40% from about 40x the opening market cap. Every fee is taken in SOL. Meteora keeps 20% of each fee.

  4. 04harvest

    anyone can harvest

Harvest is permissionless: it claims the locked position's fees and splits them by the shares written into the launch. 40% to lockers, 40% to the creator side, 20% to the platform.

  5. 05summit

    lock to share the fees

Lock any amount for 10, 20, 30 days at 1x, 1.5x, 2x weight. Each harvest's lockers' part is shared by weight; claim it in SOL any time, no minimum. The coins come back when the lock ends.

Conditions

The pool never sells below the opening price, but at that price it holds no SOL to buy tokens back. A coin nobody buys still shows 250 SOL of market cap with nothing to sell into. Locked coins cannot be sold until their lock ends. No volume means no fees, for lockers and creators alike.

Depth

the curve is the pool's own depth

The whole supply sits in one pool from the opening price up, so the first SOL in moves the price far less than on a thin curve. There is no cheap zone to buy and dump.

Fees

the fee comes down as the coin climbs

DAMM v2's market-cap fee scheduler sets the rate: 1.25% at the open, a little lower every step of the way up, 0.40% from about 40x the opening market cap. Every fee is taken in SOL.

The split

where the fees go

After Meteora keeps its 20%, every harvest splits 40% to lockers, 40% to the creator side and 20% to the platform, half of which goes to $HIGH lockers.

100 SOL a day

At the opening fee of 1.25%. The fee falls as the market cap rises. No volume, no fees.

Lockers get at least 40%; a creator can give them more from the creator side. Shares are written into each launch when it is created and no admin instruction can change them afterwards. Paid in wSOL, which the site unwraps to SOL.

Locking

pick your camp

Lock a coin to share its fees. Longer locks weigh more. Rewards are worked out on chain from your weight and every harvest, and paid in SOL whenever you claim.

Ends 00:00 UTC on Nov 29, 2026, so it lasts 29 to 30 days depending on the time you lock. Rewards stop at the end even if you have not unlocked.

Locked coins cannot be sold or moved until the lock ends. To keep earning a share after that, unlock and lock again. There is no early exit.

Coin #1

$HIGH

The platform coin, launched through the same transaction as every other coin. Nobody gets tokens; if the team buys, it buys in public. Half of the platform's share of every coin, 10% of each harvest, goes to $HIGH lockers, paid by the same on-chain accrual.

Not launched yetUntil it is set on chain, that half goes to the treasury.

Side by side

what changes, and what doesn't

The fair start is the same idea as other high-open launchpads. The difference is that the rewards are worked out and paid by a program, not a list.

Limits

what nobody can do

The admin can

  • Pause new launches
  • Set the parameters for future launches: opening market cap, fee schedule, default split, launch fee, treasury
  • Set $HIGH, once
  • Hand over the admin role

No instruction lets anyone

  • Move a launch's fees, locks or rewards
  • Change a launch's split after it is created
  • Unlock or withdraw a pool's liquidity
  • Stop a harvest, a claim or an unlock

The program is not audited. It stays upgradeable by the dev wallet until it is, which means its code can still change.

FAQ

questions from the trail

Is this an investment?+

No. HIGH GROUND is a launchpad. If you lock a coin, you get a share of that coin's trading fees while the lock runs. That depends on volume, and with no volume it is zero. Coins can lose all their value.

Can the liquidity be pulled?+

No. The program creates the pool and permanently locks its position in the launch transaction. Not the creator, not the platform. Only the fees can be claimed, and the program splits those.

What happens if nobody buys a coin?+

It still shows 250 SOL of market cap, but the pool holds no SOL at the open, so there is nothing to sell into. The pool never sells below the opening price.

What do lockers get?+

At least 40% of every harvest of that coin's fees (after Meteora's 20%), shared by lock weight: 10 days 1x, 20 days 1.5x, 30 days 2x. Paid in SOL, claim any time, no minimum. If nobody is locked at a harvest, the lockers' part waits for the next harvest that has lockers.

When can I unlock?+

When the lock ends: 00:00 UTC on the 10th, 20th or 30th day after the day you locked, so a lock lasts 9 to 10, 19 to 20 or 29 to 30 days. There is no early exit. Rewards stop when the lock ends, so unlock and lock again to keep a share.

What is "settle days"?+

The program's rollover step. When a day with expiring locks has passed, someone has to record it before the next lock, harvest or unlock on that coin. It moves no coins and anyone can send it; the site adds it to your transaction when it is needed.

Who harvests?+

Anyone. Each coin page has a harvest button that claims the locked position's fees and splits them. Whoever sends it pays only the transaction fee.

What does launching cost?+

About 0.035 SOL of rent for the mint, metadata, pool, vaults, position and launch record, plus a 0.02 SOL launch fee to the treasury, plus any first buy you choose.

Who sets the creator split?+

The creator, at launch: the creator side can be shared with up to 2 partner wallets. It is written into the launch and nobody can change it afterwards.

What is $HIGH?+

The platform coin and coin #1, launched under exactly the same rules. Half of the platform's share of every coin goes to $HIGH lockers, paid by the same program. Until $HIGH is set on chain, that half goes to the treasury.

Is the program audited?+

No. It is upgradeable by the dev wallet until it is.
